The New Zealand International Wine Show has announced it is still accepting entries for the 2021 awards which were postponed due to COVID restrictions.
Organiser Kingsley Wood says the close-off date for entries is now January 20, 2022, with samples required the following week.
The competition will be judged from the 2nd to the 4th of February 2022, COVID permitting, with an Awards Event scheduled for Auckland on February 25th.
“With no Royal Easter Wine Awards scheduled for February it provides wineries the opportunity to submit wines that may not have been ready for the original judging dates in September,” says Wood.
Wineries that have entered and not yet sent judging samples can now do so.
