A new, affordable wine range launched in New Zealand recently. It was introduced via a quirky PR and social media campaign as follows.
“I’m Fuzzy Duck – you may have seen me out and about. I’m an eligible bachelor based in Hawke’s Bay but I regularly attend parties and major events around New Zealand.
My mates will tell you that I’m the life and soul of the party, they’ll also tell you that I can be a bit of a goose and I occasionally ruffle a few feathers but I’m always on the guest-list.
The best thing I’ve ever done is release my own wine label – Fuzzy Duck. Available in a Merlot and a Sauvignon Blanc I make my wines from 100% New Zealand grapes sourced from my hometown of Hawke’s Bay. Oh and the best thing is, they taste delicious.
Call me quackers for pricing my wine at around $12 a bottle but I reckon it’s just right and probably one of the best value wines you’ll ever buy!
Look out for my handsome face gracing the shelves of selected supermarket or liquor stores and if I’m not there, ask why not!
Bottoms up.”
Fuzzy Duck is 100% New Zealand wine sourced and distributed by Mission Estate for Fuzzy Duck Wines.
