Introducing the new Sileni Rosé range

rsz_the_shout-sileni_roseMade for great food and great company, Sileni Estates has launched a new range of Rosé wines just in time for summer. The range includes a wine made from Cabernet Franc and a reserve Pinot Noir Rosé from the 2016 vintage.

The 2016 Cellar Selection Cabernet Franc Rosé (RRP $19.99) is produced in Hawke’s Bay, the fruit is grown specifically for this wine and gently pressed to create the desired amount of vibrant colour and tannin.

“Our Cellar Selection Rosé has aromas of berry and cherry, with vibrant flavours of red berry and spice. It is delicious with salmon, charcuterie or fresh seafood,” says Chief Winemaker Grant Edmonds.

The 2016 Estate Selection Ridge Pinot Noir Rosé (RRP $24.99) is produced from reserve Pinot Noir vineyards, grown in cooler Hawke’s Bay inland sub-regions.

“The Ridge Rosé is more delicate, with aromatic strawberry and cherry flavours, which are juicy and refreshing. It’s the perfect lunchtime wine, delicious with a Mediterranean style platter,” says Edmonds.

“Rosé is currently the fastest growing wine category in New Zealand. Consumers appreciate it for its lighter style, gorgeous fruit flavour and the ability to match it with a wide range of food. It is the perfect wine for warmer weather,” says Sileni Estates CEO, Nigel Avery.

The new range of Rosé is available in store now from New World supermarkets and good wine stores.

The Sileni winery is based in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand’s oldest wine region. The company has vineyard plantings in the Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough and is one of the largest family-owned wine producers in New Zealand.
