One hundred and eighty golfers will be vying for the coveted mystery prize in the 18th annual Allan Scott Family Winemakers Women’s Tournament at Marlborough Golf Club. The three-day tournament has attracted entrants from across the country and abroad and tees off today, Monday, March 27.
Proud sponsors Allan Scott Family Winemakers are providing the major prize of a weekend getaway to the tournament’s winner and are staying mum on the details. Competitors have been told to bring hiking boots, a little black dress, leisure pants and a book. The prize includes air travel, transfers and two night’s accommodation in an exciting, luxury New Zealand destination.
Allan Scott will also play host on the first evening of the golfing event with a prize-giving at Allan Scott Family Winemakers’ highly-acclaimed on premise restaurant, Twelve Trees.
“Allan Scott Family Winemakers are pleased to be a part of the Women’s Tournament again. Marlborough Golf Club is one of our country’s oldest and is nestled among vineyards with a friendly atmosphere. We are proud to support our local community and it is a great fit for our brand.
We look forward to Twelve Trees becoming the ‘19th hole’ after a great day of play on Monday and spoiling the ladies with an evening of Allan Scott wine and canapes,” says Allan Scott.
Allan Scott Family Winemakers have sponsored the tournament for 18 years.
