Entries are now open for The New Zealand International Wine Show 2020.
Now in its 16th year, the New Zealand International Wine Show has been the biggest wine competition in the country since its inception.
This year, Chief Judge Bob Campbell MW will joined by Assistant Chief Judges Larry McKenna, John Hancock and Tony Bish – three of New Zealand’s great winemakers.
In total, there will be 24 experienced senior judges.
Any wine from any country can be entered, there are no volume requirements, no sustainable requirements and the wine does not need to be on sale in New Zealand.
In previous years, Gold Medals have been awarded to wines from New Zealand, Australia, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Germany, Chile, South Africa, Turkey and the USA. In 2018, there were 61 gold medals awarded to Australian wines.
Medal stickers will be available immediately after the judging and as they are non-vintaged they are available on a continuing basis throughout the year.
The Conditions of Entry, Classes, Entry Forms etc. are all available here.
