Entries are now open for the Melbourne International Beverage Competition which will take place on the weekend of 26th and 27th September.
This year, the judging will be undertaken by a Virtual Judging Panel, with the samples hand-delivered to their homes across Melbourne CBD.
The judging will be undertaken by trade buyers, including liquor buyers, importers, distributors, retailers, sommeliers and purchasing managers. They will be assessing each wine, beer and spirit by its category and price.
Three separate competitions combine to form the Melbourne International Beverage Competition – the Melbourne International Wine Competition, Melbourne International Beer Competition and Melbourne International Spirits Competition.
These competitions yield entries in more than 50 categories, from over 10 countries.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for a beverage manufacturer or supplier to showcase products to the buying community in a true blind tasting,” say the organisers.
“Ideal for both new-to-market, and established offerings, your product will be tasted and assessed by these trade buyers.”
