The Shout NZ is proud to announce that it is the Media Partner for the NZ Spirits Awards 2021.
Presented by Spirits New Zealand Inc. and Distilled Spirits Aotearoa (NZ) Inc., the New Zealand Spirits Awards are a celebration of spirits in New Zealand.
The organisers’ aim is to acknowledge and reward the very best in local and international spirits commercially available in New Zealand and through this promote the brands and categories to consumers and trade.
This year there are more than 320 entries from both local and international brands, with judging taking place in Auckland this week.
The 2021 judging panel includes The Shout NZ contributors Cameron Douglas MS and spirits expert Tash McGill.
McGill says it is a privilege to judge New Zealand’s best spirits alongside the best of what the rest of the world has to offer.
“It’s a wonderful insight into how our spirits offering is developing as well as a chance to increase consumer awareness and enthusiasm for the best of the best – from home and abroad,” she says.
Medal winners will be announced May 26 and trophy winners will be revealed at the annual awards dinner in Auckland on June 25.
