Organisers of DramFest 2022 have announced a new date for the whisky festival which is now set to take place on 4th-5th March, 2023.
“We were of course very disappointed to have to postpone DramFest 2022, but after much consideration, we have decided on a new date,” say the organisers, Whisky Galore.
“While we are a little saddened by the prospect of waiting a full year to get ‘oor wee fest’ underway, we feel it’s the most sensible date both logistically and in terms of the health and wellbeing of everyone involved.”
However, to keep spirits up Whisky Galore says it will be hosting four ‘Silver Lining Sessions’ over the course of the last weekend in February.
“The plan is to taste three drams that we earmarked as just that little bit extra special from the DramFest line-up, and we are very much looking forward to sharing them with you.”
In order to comply with the current government guidelines, there is a limit on the number of people that can attend each session.
To ensure as many whisky lovers as possible get the chance to attend, there is a limit of one ticket and one session per person.
