The trophy winners of the New Zealand International Wine Show 2022 have been announced with Wild Earth’s Reserve “Earth & Sky” Pinot Noir 2021 taking home Champion Wine of the Show.
The NZIWS entries were judged in October by a panel of 21 experts, led by Chairman Bob Campbell MW.
COVID issues delayed the judging of the 2021 event until February this year. As a result, there were two rounds of New Zealand’s largest wine competition in 2022.
This is the 18th year of the New Zealand International Wine Show and it is still the largest wine judging competition in the country.
A total of 256 Gold Medals – including 64 Double Gold – were awarded, and the trophy winners are:
