Bright raspberry red appearance leads to a bouquet and palate of black currant and red licorice, some dark berry highlights and brown earth qualities. Fleshy, juicy and just dry on the palate with a core of red berry fruit flavours, a touch of spice and mineral then a clay-like flavour. Overall well made with no impact from tannins, then, a medium acid line and moderate finish. A wine that could also be enjoyed if chilled a little. Best enjoyed this summer until winter 2024.
