Super Liquor Holdings has announced the appointment of Morgan McCann as new Chief Executive Officer.
McCann joins the national liquor retail franchise from Mico New Zealand – a division of Fletcher Building – where he has been General Manager.
Prior to joining Fletcher’s, he was with the Foodstuffs co-operative for more than 10 years, working in a range of senior leadership roles across the business that culminated in being Head of New World.
McCann started his Foodstuffs career with Liquorland as National Retail Manager after time with Lion Liquor Retail as Merchandise and Marketing Manager and prior to that at Lion for five years.
“I’m delighted to be returning to the liquor retail sector, and the opportunity to lead a large New Zealand franchise business in Super Liquor – with franchisees that are passionate about what they do, a brand with strong heritage and the ability to drive positive outcomes in a very dynamic market,” he says.
McCann will take up his role from Monday, 17th June 2024.
