Tasting notes: Immediately attractive masculine bouquet with fat ripe black currant and toasty wood aromas, peppercorn and sweet olive, there’s a mild iron earthy quality the black currant, raspberry and preserved plum suggestions. Firm tannins and plenty of acidity remind that this is a young wine still, the fruit core also contrasts and evens out the palate flavours and textures. Well made, fruity and oaky, ripe and almost ready. Best drinking from 2021 through 2024+.
