Christchurch gin boutique, The Juniper Collective, has announced a change in ownership and a broadened product range.
From June 4, The Juniper Collective – which first opened in 2021 – will be under the stewardship of new owner, Tom Finn.
Entrepreneur Finn is also the owner of local distillery, Herrick Creek.
Not only will the boutique continue to offer a large selection of local gins and tastings, but will also begin
to introduce lines of New Zealand whiskies, rum, vodka, and other types of spirits.
Finn says he aims to enhance the shopping experience.
“Our goal is to celebrate all New Zealand spirits from gin to whisky, rum and more,” he says.
“New Zealand distillers are really passionate about creating high end, world-class spirits, and we want to share that with locals and visitors to Christchurch.”
Some of the expanded product line will be celebrated at a special launch day, scheduled for 29
June, at the store at 112 Cashel St.
The event will feature tastings of select new products, meet-and-greet opportunities with the owner, and a special 10% discount on purchases of new spirits.
In addition to expanding its product range, The Juniper Collective aims to enhance its community engagement by hosting monthly tasting events, collaborating with local distilleries and businesses, and participating in community projects.
