DramFest unites whisky lovers this March

DramFest – New Zealand’s largest whisky festival – is back for its ninth year.

Taking place at Te Pae Convention Centre, Christchurch, this year’s festival has been extended to three days of whisky education and tasting, on Friday 28th February, Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd March.

With an excess of 350 different whiskies and other dark spirits represented by distilleries and independent bottlers from around the globe, the festival is a unique opportunity to meet with overseas and local whisky experts including distillers, owners and brand ambassadors.

The visiting experts for 2025 include Dave Broom (spirits expert, author and educator), The Hon. Alex Bruce (Managing Director of Adelphi and Ardnamurchan distillery) and Anthony and Kathy Wills (founders and owners of Kilchoman Distillery), amongst many more.

These experts offer attendees the chance to interact with those who are directly involved with the creation, selection and promotion of some of the whiskies on offer.
