It’s about time Rum distillers were celebrated! The Rumbles were created with the primary objective to grow the rum category and celebrate the best worldwide rum on offer in the New Zealand Retail market.
This is an opportunity to showcase your brand, increase awareness to consumers and a chance to promote an awarded brand in New Zealand.
The Categories for The Rumbles, New Zealand Rum Awards 2023 are:
- White Rum
- Aged Rum 1-4 years
- Aged Rum 5+ years
- Overproof Rum 50%
- Other Rums (botanical, flavoured or otherwise contemporary)
- Rum Liqueurs

Entry fees – one Rum submission is $65.00 plus GST. Two or more Rums is $55.00 per Rum plus GST.
Judging will take place 9th & 10th of October with awards taking place in early November.
