Applications are now open for the International Wine & Spirits Competition’s 2024 Wine Communicator Trophy and Spirits Communicator Trophy.
The awards recognise individuals who make an exceptional contribution to publicising wine or spirits to a consumer audience.
Entries are welcome from across the worlds of publishing, journalism, broadcasting, social media and education.
In 2023, The Shout NZ’s spirits columnist Tash McGill was a finalist in the spirits category.
You can either enter the award yourself or nominate someone whose communication work has been striking consumers’ interest in wine or spirits in a compelling way.
IWSC’s Communicator Trophies are judged by a panel of communication experts, including previous winners of this accolade, as well as experts from the IWSC and Vinitaly (wine) and Chivas Brothers (spirits).
The 2024 winner will be announced at an awards ceremony on 19 October, 2023.
