Entries are now open for the 2023 New Zealand International Wine Show.
Since it’s inception in 2005, the NZIWS has been the largest wine judging competition in the country.
Last year 25 Trophies were awarded for the Best in Class wines, Champion Winemaker and Wine Company of the Show.
A team of senior judges, led by Chief Judge Bob Campbell MW, awarded 256 gold medals (including 64 double gold), 335 silver and 583 bronze medals.
Any grape variety of wine from any country can be entered and the wines do not need to be available for purchase or retail in New Zealand.
Entries will be limited to a maximum of 2000 wines and entries close on Friday, 1st September 2023.
