Entries are now open for the 2024 NZ International Wine Show.
Since it’s inception in 2005, the New Zealand International Wine Show has been the largest wine judging competition in the country.
Chief Judge, Bob Campbell MW, is ranked as the most experienced wine judge in New Zealand and his team of Assistant Chief Judges include Larry McKenna, John Hancock, Tony Bish, plus 20 senior judges.
Last year, 24 Trophies were awarded for the Best in Class wines, Champion Winemaker and Wine Company of the Show.
The team of senior judges awarded 264 Gold Medals, 57 Double Gold, 420 Silver and 668 Bronze.
“The high number of Gold Medals reflects the outstanding quality in recent vintages and the high standard of entries,” says the awards’ organisers.
