Donovans Chocolates have been busy brewing their latest collaboration with Good George Brewing; two chocolate infused stouts – Good George Rocky Road Black Stout and Good George Rocky Road White Stout. Created in the heart of Waikato by local craft brewery, Good George, the limited release Good George Rocky Road Stout was one of the highlights at the Chocolate & Coffee Show in Auckland this weekend.
Created for the adventurous beer lover who enjoys a bit of decadence, it is made with premium Donovans chocolate, with a hint of vanilla and a dash of raspberry with subtle coffee tones.
Hamilton-based brewery, Good George, specialises in crafted and blended brews and has a passion to bring Kiwi beer drinkers experiences worthy of their time and efforts.
Donovans Chocolate Brand Manager, Julia Turner says, “We’re excited to have collaborated with our neighbours at Good George on another fantastic product, inspired by our newest Rocky Road clusters.”
“Last year’s release of a Salted Caramel Chocolate Porter was well-loved by consumers and we’re confident beer and chocolate lovers will enjoy this new variation,” Turner adds.
Launched at Beervana in Wellington, the Good George Rocky Road White Stout was voted a top fifteen brew and well-received by consumers who enjoy craft beer.
