Men account for three out of four suicides in New Zealand and around the world, the rate of male suicide is seven out of 10.
Since 2003, Movember has looked at mental health through a male lens, focusing on prevention, early intervention and health promotion.
There’s just a few days until the start of Movember and while most Kiwis know it as the time to grow a moustache, you can use your venue to help support men’s mental health this coming month by hosting a Mo-Ment for Movember.
From man-tails (that’s a man cocktail) to setting the world record for the longest group hug – whatever you decide to do – the money you raise from your event will fund game-changing men’s health projects.
It will help Movember take on the issues of mental health, suicide, prostate cancer and testicular cancer and help save Kiwi men’s lives.
And why not serve a spot of Blokequet while you’re at it?!
It’s time to make a different and get planning at your on-premise now!
