Alcohol free spirits maker, Ecology & Co. has announced the release of a second special edition in its range: “Juniper Garden”.
On the back of the positive response to its first limited edition run, the speciality distillery has come up with a new blend which it hopes will become the second in of a limited run series.
“The response to our limited edition Desert Rose blend, which we made to mark Dry July, was so incredible we thought we’d release more from our recipe book,” says Head Distiller, and co-founder, Will Miller.
“Juniper Garden is a lush basil fronted experience combined with juniper and back notes of pepper, lemon myrtle and nutmeg.”
Miller said Ecology & Co. was aiming to come up with a new edition every couple of months until they had done half a dozen and then potentially pick one blend for the next general release.
“We are only releasing around 80 bottles of each special edition, so they really are limited releases,” he says.
“Experimenting with new flavours and recipes is great fun. It’s incredible the flavours we can get just from natural distilling. The results are so clean and fragrant making the end result joyous in the glass.”
Ecology and Co. prides itself on its natural ingredients and craft processes and currently has two blends available across New Zealand – London Dry and Asian Spice.
The limited edition is only available direct from ecologyandco.com and for a limited time or until stocks run out.
