Metala Wines from Langhorne Creek, South Australia, has announced a strategic partnership with New Zealand wine company Indevin Group.
The agreement will see the Metala and Killibinbin ranges available in New Zealand for the first time in more than 20 years.
“The team at Metala is excited for the opportunity to share our passion and products with our neighbours across the ditch,” says Guy Adams, fifth generation owner of Metala.
“Partnering with Indevin Group, who share our commitment to quality and exceptional winemaking, is a significant milestone for us. We believe that our Metala and Killibinbin wines will be warmly welcomed by New Zealand wine lovers.”
Indevin Group is New Zealand’s largest producer and exporter of wine and consists of a portfolio of brands spearheaded by Villa Maria.
Metala and Killibinbin are the first partnership brands to be sold in their New Zealand portfolio.
“Metala and Killibinbin are a strong fit for our branded portfolio with their approachable styles and commitment to quality,” says Indevin Chief Sales Officer Sam Mills. “We look forward to introducing the distinguished legacy of Metala Wines to our New Zealand customers.”
Metala and Killibinbin wines will be available in New Zealand liquor retailers this month.
