Kevin Mapson has been appointed as the Managing Director for Pernod Ricard New Zealand with immediate effect, reporting to the Managing Director of Pernod Ricard Pacific. Mapson, who previously held the role of Sales Director for Pernod Ricard Australia, has been replaced by Jeff McKenzie, formerly National Business Manager.
Pernod Ricard has also announced that Bryan Fry will be taking over from Julien Hémard in the Pacific region. Fry, currently Managing Director, Pernod Ricard USA, has been appointed Managing Director of Pernod Ricard Pacific, reporting into the Chairman and CEO of Pernod Ricard Winemakers. As of July 1, he will replace Hémard whose new appointment within the Pernod Ricard Group will be announced shortly.
Fry moves to the Pacific region from the US, having initially joined the Orlando Wyndham Group in 1995. Following appointment to a series of positions within Wyndham, Fry was appointed as Vice President Marketing for Pernod Ricard Asia in 2006. In 2009 Fry became the Managing Director of the Brazil region, before taking over the US MD role in September 2012.
