Sacred Hill has launched its much anticipated Reserve range with stylish premium packaging and a comprehensive marketing campaign to back up the delicious drinkability of the wines themselves.
The five wines in the new range, made with fruit from Sacred Hill’s most cherished vineyard sites, are positioned as a step up from the ever popular Sacred Hill Orange Label varietals. Sacred Hill Reserve has been launched in response to growing consumer demand for accessible, better quality wines for special occasions.
Managing Director and founder David Mason says the Reserve wines are designed to make every day a little more special and crafted to reflect the character of Sacred Hill and its vineyards. “The launch of the Reserve range is an exciting milestone for Sacred Hill and is very much an extension of our long held wine making philosophy,” he says. “Since we started Sacred Hill on the Hawke’s Bay family farm in the 1980s we’ve always been about making wine to share with family and friends. That approach struck a chord back then and it still resonates with consumers today.”
Sacred Hill is launching the Reserve range with a fully integrated campaign, which includes print advertising, a significant PR component and a range of digital initiatives including social media and website promotion, as well as an in-store neck tag promotion across Orange Label and Reserve.
Sacred Hill founders, David and Mark Mason, with friend and winemaker Tony Bish, began with a simple philosophy of making more wine than they could drink, and sharing the rest. The winemaking generosity continues – today Sacred Hill is a highly respected New Zealand winery with a range of quality, multi-awarded wines from vineyards in Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough. With the Mason family still at the helm, Sacred Hill has three tiers of wines, the super-premium Special Selection, premium HALO and popular Orange Label.
Sacred Hill Senior Winemaker Tony Bish says the new Reserve wines are made using fruit harvested from premium blocks in Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough and most importantly they are deliciously drinkable. The full Sacred Hill Reserve range includes:
- Sacred Hill Reserve Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2014 (Silver Medal, Air New Zealand Wine Awards 2014)
