NZ Cider Festival to return to Nelson this November

The 8th annual New Zealand Cider Festival is returning to Founders Heritage Park in Nelson on Saturday, 2 November, 2024.

This year’s event will showcase a selection of more than 100 ciders from across the country, including a lineup of new producers.

There will also be mead, fruit wine, craft beer and local wine available to sample.

Entertainment includes live performances from Wellington’s Raw Collective, plus Reece Milton, The Leftovers, ShedHeads and more to be announced soon.

A highlight of the day will be the announcement of the 2024 Fruit Wine and Cider Awards by the Fruit Wine & Cider Maker’s Association of NZ.

This competition, established in 1984, recognises outstanding quality and innovation in New Zealand cider, celebrating the growing diversity of cider styles available in the country.

Tickets are on sale now, with early bird tickets priced at $35 until 31 August. Children under 18 can attend for free when accompanied by a guardian.
