Entries are currently open for the New Zealand International Wine Competition 2023.
Organiser Kingsley Wood has now released more information regarding zero-alcohol wine entries.
“There will not be a separate class for these wines, they will be included with other wines in their category but judges will be informed of which wines have zero-alcohol,” he says.
“There will be considerable consumer interest in any of these wines that receive medals.”
Entries for the awards close on September 1, 2023, and judging will take place on September 19-21 in Auckland.
Master of Wine Bob Campbell, New Zealand’s leading wine show educator and the countries top wine judge, will once again lead a panel of 22 experienced competition judges.
A public tasting of all Gold & Double Gold Medal winning wines will take place on Wednesday, October 11, in Auckland and the Trophy Awards Event is set for Friday, October 13, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
