A developing bouquet showcases variety and highlights from time in the bottle. Still very youthful, it retains the brightness and freshness of a much younger wine. Fresh red cherry and plum with layers of dried herbs and spice. Complexity comes from the ripeness of the fruit combined with regional flavours, from dried herbs to a rugged yet gentle brightness of fruit and flowers. Polished tannins and a decent acid line frame the wine well, with core fruit flavours and a gentle savoury dried herb quality. Oak is well placed. Best drinking from the day of purchase through 2030.
