Earthy and mineral, this wine has a complex and varietal bouquet. Aromas and flavours of clay and stone, soft dried herbs, and a core of red berry and cherry fruits. The oak makes a bold statement, accentuated by the tannins and acid line, just needs some more cellar time to settle and develop further. A dry wine with a whisper of gun flint, baking spice, and earthy smoke qualities. As the wine opens in the glass, these flavours and textures begin to meld. Lengthy finish, complex, and offers best drinking from late 2025 through 2033.
