Wine Business Solutions (WBS’) Wine On-Premise UK 2018 survey has identified Saint Clair Family Estate as being most listed table wine brand in the UK. This is the ninth survey conducted by Wine Business Solutions, providing 180,000 listings as a database for longer term analysis. The survey claims to be the most comprehensive investigation ever conducted into on-premise distribution throughout the UK.
Saint Clair Family Estate is now exporting to more than 70 markets worldwide and the UK is a significant export market for Saint Clair by both volume and value. Saint Clair has developed a solid relationship with its distributor Hallgarten Druitt, having worked with the company for more than 15 years. WBS’ survey named Hallgarten ‘Distributor of the Year’.
Saint Clair Managing Director Neal Ibbotson says the winery feel very proud that their wines are admired and consumed around the globe. “Hearing that our wines are the number one table wine sold in the UK is something we never thought possible, whilst also maintaining our much needed sales in the off-trade,” he says. “We have been able to achieve these results through great distribution and our incredibly dedicated winery team.”
