Premium Asian beer brand, Tiger, today launched a range of bar snacks made with sustainable protein sources including grasshoppers, crickets, mealworms, tarantula and scorpions.
The interesting new snacks tap into a growing global interest in sustainable food alternatives, and are a perfect accompaniment to the premium beer, as another option to traditional bar snacks like beer nuts or pretzels. The snacks will be exclusively available at The Portland Public House, 463 New North Road, Kingsland, Auckland, for a limited time this summer.
Tiger Bar Snacks come in five delicious flavours: Roasted Scorpions, Garlic Grasshoppers, Peri Peri Crickets, Teriyaki Mealworms, and Roasted Tarantula.
